From June 21 to October 31, 2014, an exhibition takes place at the Farel space, located at 1 rue de la Barrière in Ajaccio (a stretta di u fornu). The painter and sculptor Pierre Farel offers unique creations of paintings, sculptures and other derivative products.

Painter multi-faceted, Pierre Farel fell into the artistic bath as a teenager. At the age of 14, he participated in painting workshops with artists from the Orange region where he came from. His school career continued with studies atAvignon School of Fine Arts.

His encounter with Corsica is above all a family story. Her maternal grandfather was from Cap Corse, the social situation in Corsica at the time forced him to pack up for the continent. Pierre, during his military service in Fréjus, was surrounded by Corsicans with whom he became friends. During a leave, he discovers the island of beauty and decides to drop anchor there, meeting his wife afterwards.

He set up his workshop in 1987 in Ajaccio and opened his shop, Espace Farel in 2005. The exhibition runs from June 21 to October 31, Tuesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
