Two suspects in the murder of Bilal, on June 3 on the terrace of a fast-food restaurant in Saumur (Maine-et-Loire), were arrested by the Angers judicial police on Tuesday, June 25, in Tours in Indre-et-Loire. They are a 25-year-old man, suspected of being the shooter, and a 26-year-old woman, who allegedly drove the car used to get away. At the same time, a third suspect, who had surrendered himself, asked to be released.

On the evening of Tuesday June 25, 2024, investigators from the Organized and Specialized Crime Division (DCOS) of Angers arrested two people in the Tours sector, in Indre-et-Loire. These two people, a 25-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman, are suspected of having played a key role in the murder of young Bilal on June 3, on the terrace of a kebab restaurant in Saumur. These two suspects were wanted from the beginning as possibly being the shooter and the woman who drove the vehicle which allowed their escape, a few moments after the fatal shots, specifies Angers public prosecutor Éric Bouillard in a press release.

A weapon and ammunition seized
