Their complementarity is reflected in their project. A newcomer to rue Molinier, located at number 37, the Imperial cocktail is due to open its doors at the beginning of July. Inside the chic, pastel-colored boutique, Achille Augé and Jordanne Barthet are putting the finishing touches on their joint project, completed after three months of work rendering the old premises unrecognizable. On the walls, “high quality” spirits offered for sale, the vast majority French, jars of dehydrated fruit made in-house as well as all the accessories necessary for making the recipes taught by the masters of the place.

“I discovered cocktails when I worked in Saint-Barthélemy in a five-star establishment. After six years of service in a bar in Agen, I wanted to turn to mixology. We can imagine that it is simple to create a cocktail, but there are many things to discover, how to extract the fruit flavor, or make it into a puree…” With his partner, responsible for the commercial part, Achille Augé will offer introductory workshops, from tasting to making personalized drinks.

Custom made

Outside the walls, the Imperial cocktail is transformed into a private bar for creating cocktails during events. “You can go to your home, or to the venue of a wedding for example, thanks to our mobile bar, branded with the name of the company. We can offer a tailor-made drink that reflects the customers’ image,” says Jordanne Barthet.

Soon, a website will allow you to book workshops online and find all the contact details and services offered. “We are very happy to have created this universe in which we both find ourselves, and to be able to open the shop in this through space, which overlooks this beautiful pedestrian street,” she continues.

Open at the beginning of July, Tuesday to Saturday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
