The Ty Producteurs company, specializing in the processing and sale of pork, will remain closed for “at least two weeks” according to Patrice Le Blimeau, one of the two partners of the company based in Kervignac (Morbihan). Ty Producteurs is subject to an administrative closure, ordered by the Morbihan prefecture on Friday November 15, 2024, due to the “repeated presence of listeria”.

New tests to come
This week, production tools will be cleaned and disinfected. “New tests will then be carried out. First on the production tools, then on the transformed products once the machines can be put back into operation”, points out Patrice Le Blimeau. Remember that although Ty Producteurs had to stop its sales to individuals and local authorities, no product had to be recalled. No technical unemployment is planned for the company's fifty employees.
