Leader and founder of the famous Moroccan group “Mazagan” which has toured all over the world. Inventor of “Chaabi-Groove”, an explosive mixture of traditional Moroccan songs and rock sound, “Issam Kamal” has collaborated with world-renowned artists such as RedOne, Khaled, Alpha Blondy, Outlandish, Maher Zain…. Decorated by the King of Morocco in 2013 for his work to modernize heritage, he won the prize for best modern song at the Morocco music Awards 2015, then the prize for best song at the Top Indie on radio RTS in 2022. Issam Kamal mixes its multiple musical influences (pop, rock, world, variety, funk, Afro, oriental, urban, fusion) and tells us “our stories” in popular songs capable of satisfying the most varied musical affinities.
