In partnership with the city of Agen, the traveling cinema Quercimages and the Brigade d’animations Ludiques 47, the Agen-based association Per Doman is preparing an original festival imbued with Occitan accents.

La Fèsta dels Drolles will be held this Saturday, June 29, from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., at the Antoine-Lomet sports area (at the Aquasud swimming pool parking lot).

Traditional wooden games and boom

An event which puts Occitan roots in the spotlight, and specially dedicated to “funny”, children in our dialect. They will have the opportunity to learn about traditional games offered by the Calandreta Jansemineta association. It is to Per Doman that we owe this school specializing in Occitan.

During her activities, she always makes a point of providing old-fashioned games for children. Bowling games, wooden shuffleboards, who said that children only think about screens to have fun?

Sports activities and water games will also be offered, followed by a “festive aperitif”, savory food and pancakes for everyone. At 8 p.m., the children will be entitled to their own boom, a first for some of them.

At 9:30 p.m., open-air cinema with the screening of the cartoon “Icarus” by Carlo Vogele. A great time for the whole family!

Cancellation in case of rain. Information on 06 38 01 16 68. Free entry.
