Mâcon, stopover town of the Grande Boucle, will celebrate the Tour on May 25 and 26. On this occasion, numerous activities await you to celebrate cycling in all its forms.

Come and take part in this free event open to all!

Saturday May 25 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. – Champlevert municipal stadium

The Department of Saône-et-Loire offers a festive and fun day dedicated to cycling. On the program for this day:

  • Spectacle BMX « Starlight » ;
  • Loan of electric bikes and rosalies;
  • Introduction to go-karts and scooters;
  • Bike stations to recharge your electric bike;
  • Refreshments.

Cycle tourism hikes

The four routes offered by the “Etoile Cycliste Flacéenne” (40 km, 60 km, 90 km and 120 km) will each pass over part of the route of the 6th stage of the Tour.

  • Itinerary of the 40 km course – departure at 9:00 a.m.:
    • Departure from Esplanade Lamartine in Mâcon – Charnay-lès-Mâcon – La Roche Vineuse – Verzé – Igé – Azé – Saint-Maurice-de-Satonnay – Hurigny – Flacé – Arrival from Esplanade Lamartine in Mâcon.
  • Itinerary of the 60 km course – departure at 9:00 a.m.:
    • Departure from Esplanade Lamartine in Mâcon – Charnay-lès-Mâcon – La Roche Vineuse – La Croix Blanche – Cluny – Donzy-le-Pertuis – Azé – Saint-Maurice-de-Satonnay – Hurigny – Flacé – Arrival from Esplanade Lamartine in Mâcon.
  • Itinerary of the 90 km course – – departure at 7:30 a.m.:
    • Departure from Esplanade Lamartine in Mâcon – Charnay-lès-Mâcon – La Roche Vineuse – La Croix Blanche – Cluny – Massilly – Taizé – Cormatin – Bissy-sous-Uxelles – Chapaize – Brancion – Cruzille – Bissy-la-Mâconnaise – Saint-Gengoux- de-Scissé – Azé – Saint-Maurice-de-Satonnay – Hurigny – Flacé – Arrival at the Lamartine esplanade in Mâcon.
  • Itinerary of the 120 km course – departure at 7:30 a.m.:
    • Departure from Esplanade Lamartine in Mâcon – Charnay-lès-Mâcon – La Roche Vineuse – La Croix Blanche – Cluny – Massilly – Taizé – Cormatin – Saint-Gengoux-le-National – Saint-Boil – Buxy – Ponneau – Messey-sur-Grosne – La Chapelle-de-Bragny – Bresse-sur-Grosne – Colombier-sous-Uxelles – Bissy-sous-Uxelles – Chapaize – Brancion – Cruzille – Bissy-la-Mâconnaise – Saint-Gengoux-de-Scissé – Azé – Saint-Maurice -de-Satonnay – Hurigny – Flacé – Arrival at Esplanade Lamartine in Mâcon.

To participate, registration is required and can be done online until May 23 at the following link: https://www.helloasso.com/associations/etoile-cycliste-flaceenne/evenements/la-fete-du-tour-de-france-26-mai-2024-macon. The first hundred registered will receive a unique technical cycling jersey!

Wearing a helmet will be compulsory.

Cycling village from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Demonstrations, introductions to cycling in all its forms and exhibition of collector’s bikes.

Family bike rides from 9:30 a.m.

Starting from the esplanade, follow a 13 km bike loop on urban trails accessible to all. Itinerary to discover on site.
