The CGT, Santé & Social and FO unions contest what they call “an abuse of disciplinary power“from management. They are demanding more safety measures and protection for employees or even “stopping arbitrary service changes“.
Today, the strikers did not organize a picket in front of the establishment because they do not want to “compromise certification : this procedure – during which ARS experts visit the establishment – makes it possible to assess the level of quality and safety of care.
Management disputes the arguments put forward by the unions. According to the interim hospital director, Michel Clément, this strike “in fact seeks to obstruct disciplinary proceedings“, After “dare dysfunctions identified within a department which gave rise to an internal audit“. Five agents are suspected of bad behavior and could be sanctioned.
