Back in Ligue 1, ASSE is active in the summer transfer window and should recruit an attacking player. Little known but promising, Augustine Boakye, who currently plays for the Wolfsberger club in Austria, should join the Saint-Etienne club in the coming days.

Aged 23, Augustine Boakye joined the Austrian league in August 2021 with the aim of progressing and becoming one of the best African players. His first professional season was complicated for the Ghanaian, who took time to acclimatise to the Austrian championship. Injured in the knee, he will only participate in 3 small parts of matches for his first season. It is only from April 2023 that the player will begin to show the extent of his talent, gaining more and more playing time. It will be necessary to wait until this season before seeing Augustine Boakye become an undisputed starter for Wolfsberger, with 10 goals and 6 assists in 30 matches.
