A crook who doesn't move

A VTC driver actively participated in his capture. The suspect began by deceiving his target by posing as a banker. He then told his victim that a third person would come to her home to collect her card, which the scammer claimed was hacked. The young man then used a VTC application and asked a driver to take care of the trip, our colleagues say.

This request having alerted him, the driver contacted the police, who had just been informed of the scam by the victim. Agents from the anti-crime brigade (Bac) took their place on board the VTC, which took them to (Yvelines), where they were supposed to give the bank card to the suspect. The latter ended up recognizing the scam.
