Musa Toure, 18 years old, striker, Australian, born in Darwin, last club: Adelaide United. Here is the identity sheet of the new Clermont Foot 63 player who has just signed his contract until June 2028.

If Musa will be the first Australian in the history of Clermont Foot 63, he will be the 8th to set foot on the pitches of Ligue 2 BKT. His two older brothers, Mohamed Toure (Paris FC) and Al Hassan Toure (AC Ajaccio), having beaten him in 2023 for the first and in January 2024 for the second.

Lively, fast, punchy, powerful, these are the characteristics of this young 1m83 attacker. If he is considered one of the prospects of Australian football, it will undoubtedly take time for him to acclimatize to European football. “It’s the first time I’m going to play so far from home, it will certainly take me a little time to find my bearings, but I can’t wait to get started and meet my new teammates. I am here to learn and bring my qualities to Clermont Foot”, declares Musa Toure.

The Auvergne club thus signs its 5th recruit of the transfer window after Henri Saivet (attacking midfielder), Allan Ackra (defensive midfielder), Maïdine Douane (attacker) and Damien Da Silva (defender).

Welcome Musa !
