HEALTH / According to ARS 04, we have never welcomed so many interns and young doctors to the territory. But efforts must be amplified in the years to come with, why not, a first year of medicine carried out on the connected campus of Digne les Bains

ARS 04 will welcome François Braun this week. The emergency doctor, former Minister of Health, was tasked with supporting the emergency services. He should return a second time in mid-December to help the teams implement the recommendations made.

The Alpes de Haute-Provence, future land of medical training?

An emergency situation in or Digne les Bains which should not obscure an improvement in the lower Alpine region: according to the ARS, the number of new doctors installed has never been so important. We have never welcomed so many interns, 38, a “historic” record according to Bertrand Biju Duval, director of ARS 04. However, efforts must continue to obtain more doctors and more time for them.

“It is to welcome more interns, by inviting all general practitioners to be masters of training. It makes young Bas Alpins want to become health professionals, with why not a first year of medicine at Digne les Bains on the connected campus”, B. Biju Duval
