Transavia, the low-cost airline of the Air France-KLM group, will launch 6 routes from Bordeaux and a route to Saudi Arabia from Paris and Lyon…
While Ryanair plans to leave its Bordeaux base, Transavia is taking advantage of this opportunity and will launch 6 routes this winter from Bordeaux. From December 12 Transavia will offer flights to Porto, Seville and Marseille as well as to Marrakech, Agadir and Istanbul. The addition of these routes will, however, be far from compensating for the departure of Ryanair which offered around 40 routes and represented 24.8% of the airport’s traffic each week according to Cirium.
At the same time, the company will serve Saudi Arabia for the first time from Paris Orly and Lyon from October 27, 2024.
Finally the company will open a route between Marseille and Hurghada.
Details of the routes added to the Transavia France winter program:
From Bordeaux:
• Marseille (France, new): 4 flights per week (Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and
Sundays), from €29 including tax one way – first flight on 12/12/2024.
• Porto (Portugal, new): 2 flights per week (Mondays and Fridays), from
€34 including tax one way – first flight on 13/12/2024.
• Seville (Spain, new): 2 flights per week (Thursdays and Sundays), from
€27 including tax one way – first flight on 12/12/2024.
• Marrakech (Morocco, new): 4 flights per week (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays
and Saturdays), from €37 including tax one way – first flight on 13/12/2024.
• Agadir (Morocco, new): 2 flights per week (Tuesdays and Saturdays), from
€39 including tax one way – first flight on 12/14/2024.
• Istanbul (Turkey, new): 2 flights per week (Thursdays and Sundays), from
of €69 including tax one way – first flight on 12/12/2024.
From Paris-Orly:
• Jeddah (Saudi Arabia, new): 2 flights per week (Thursdays and Sundays),
from €129 including tax one way – first flight on 12/12/2024.
From Lyon:
• Jeddah (Saudi Arabia, new): 2 flights per week (Mondays and Fridays),
from €119 including tax one way – first flight on 13/12/2024.
From Marseille:
• Hurghada (Egypt, new): 1 flight per week (every Sunday), from
€79 including tax one way – first flight on 10/27/2024
