Émilie Chalas is running again for the 3rd constituency of Isère against outgoing MP Elisa Martin (LFI). At the center as on the left, the candidacy of the latter, supported by the New Popular Front, raises questions.

For once, the Grenoble municipal council, which followed the demonstration, was very eventful on Monday June 24. […] The courts have been seized and will shed light on this matter.” And addressing Émilie Chalas: “Madam, you will be faced with your choices, faced with the speech you have just made.”
Opposition groups in turn expressed their anger. Excluded from the majority last year after protesting against the increase in property taxes, Maxence Alloto explained that the municipal council “would have liked to have a denial” and an attack “for defamation”. “It wasn’t complicated, we weren’t asking for controversy.”
