Fréjus Live : Notes of eternity

The Covid period will have at least been beneficial on one point: it will have allowed us to realize the importance of “live” events! Whether in the fields of theater, stand-up, classical music, rock, electro or R’n’B, living art has regained its letters of nobility by reminding us how much it was essential to come together to experience emotions together. Moreover, although we had the impression of discovering the importance of the spectacle only after having been deprived of it, it is since Antiquity that it has been part of our daily life… What could be better than to nestle in the heart of places that have stood the test of time after having hosted games, gladiator fights and, from the 60s, legendary concerts?

Fascinated by the exceptional setting of Historic Arenas, legendary artists have in fact flocked there in order, in turn, to leave their mark. Some lucky people remember applauding Tina Turner, Sting or even our national Johnny while today’s young generation will perhaps one day remember seeing the 2024 vintage concocted by the festival Fréjus Live

On the program this summer, 3 dates of so-called “current” music are scheduled for July 19 and 26 as well as August 2 to appeal to lovers of rap, hip hop, pop and R’n’B scene.

With names like DJ Bens and Ridsa (the 19th) or even Imen Es, Jungeli et Naps (August 2) the public should live their “best life” and the arenas transform into a real dance floor (a term surely already outdated for those mainly concerned!). Favorites of a young audience who have generally discovered them via social networks where they are extremely present, they should quickly attract crowds! Their tracks with an urban style, percussive rhythms and lyrics in French will allow the (undoubtedly excited) audience to dance and chant their favorite choruses in chorus!

In an atmosphere not necessarily calmer but with a musical register appealing to a slightly wider audience (or even a tad older), Claudio Capéo will make its return to this extraordinary place where the group was already invited in 2017 for the filming of the music video Tell me ! Quickly becoming an essential voice, the gravelly voice of Claudio Ruccolo (the leader of the group) will turn heads on July 26 during a unique and festive concert (perfect for summer) where, with his 4 friends, he will sing, among others, the songs from his latest album Compass after the first part has been provided by the Filipino singer.
