This Monday, June 24, the Layné hospital in Mont-de-Marsan will inaugurate its new main entrance, marking the official opening of its brand new 8,700 m² building. This significant addition to the hospital complex aims to improve accessibility and services offered to patients.

According to -.fr, the ground floor of the new building will accommodate various essential services, including admissions and consultations. Patients will be able to find surgery, anesthesia, stomatherapy and medicine services there. This redevelopment aims to centralize and simplify access to these services for a better patient experience.

Outpatient Surgery on the First Floor

From July 15, the first floor will also be accessible. This level will house the outpatient surgery department and a “new technical platform” including an operating theater, an endoscopy unit and external care. This development is crucial to modernize and expand the hospital’s treatment capabilities.

In January 2025, a new step will be taken with the integration of major surgery procedures currently carried out on the Saint-Pierre site. This centralization aims to optimize resources and offer more efficient care within the same hospital complex.

Access Maintained for Emergencies and Other Services

Access to emergency, ophthalmology, hemodialysis and nuclear medicine services will remain unchanged, still via Kronstadt Avenue. This continuity ensures that patients will continue to benefit from critical care without interruption.
