Until June 27, the workshops of the Jean-le-Bail and Jean-Gagnant municipal cultural centers in Limoges are exhibiting their works. To discover.

This is an opportunity to rediscover the achievements accomplished during the season in the various and numerous workshops offered by the municipal cultural centers.

At Jean-Gagnant, you can find these creations of children’s workshops: plastic arts, digital drawing, comics lab, manga, street art, sewing.

Or those produced in adult workshops: painting, Arabic and Latin calligraphy, illuminations, sculptures, cardboard, drawing, pastel framing, sewing, or creative writing.

Digital photo

The students of the digital photo workshop in Jean-le-Bail led by Clément Descubes, testify: “I have the pleasure of discovering my camera which I used until then without knowing much about it” confides Henri, member of the CCM Jean-le-Bail.

This retiree continues: “We learned to go further, to dare things like backlighting.”

Frédéric, also a member and participant in the photo workshop, adds that “with a teacher, you accelerate your learning. My empirical notions have been reinforced or updated. In the era of all smartphones, it is valuable to have a photo workshop that allows young people to take a serious interest in photography, whether film or digital.”

The numerous works exhibited at Jean-Gagnant and Jean-le-Bail bear witness to the formidable creative pool of the CCMs of the City of Limoges, led by quality and often long-standing, diligent contributors.

Practical. Free access, Monday to Friday at CCM Jean-Gagnant (7, avenue Jean-Gagnant, in Limoges) and Jean-le-Bail (9, rue Jean-le Bail, in Limoges), from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
