The Montauban en Scènes 2024 festival concluded in style on Saturday evening with a top-notch program and finally clear skies, this final evening crowned the festival with brilliance. After days of unpredictable weather, the sun made its comeback, as did the fans, to fully enjoy this final musical bouquet. The young artist Jethro, winner of the Montalbanese Tremplin, opened the festivities brilliantly. Her energetic and passionate performance immediately won over the audience. With Jethro the local music scene has shown that it is full of gems to discover. The atmosphere then went up a notch with the arrival of Soolking. The Franco-Algerian rapper electrified the crowd with his unique style, mixing rap and oriental sounds. But it was undoubtedly Gims which marked the high point of the evening. The very young audience present that evening was just waiting for him. The former member of Sexion d’Assaut literally set the stage on fire, literally and figuratively with pyrotechnics in front of the stage. With his impressive array of hits and spectacular visual effects, he was able to make his appearance a highlight of the closing of the festival. The spectators, fans in hand to combat the heat, were transported by his melodies and his undeniable charisma. Finally, this evening ended on an electro note with Feder and his captivating mixes combined with catchy rhythms which kept the energy high until the very end. The DJ knew how to prolong the magic of the evening, making festival-goers dance under the starry skies of Montauban. Montauban en Scènes 2024 has therefore closed its doors, leaving behind a lot of joy and beautiful memories to share.
