After four days of an intense trial, the jurors of the Assize Court (Aveyron) rendered their decision. The former driving school instructor, accused of rape by a former student of his, is found guilty, report our colleagues at The Dispatch. However, the initial penalty of 20 years of criminal imprisonment was not retained.

The 64-year-old defendant has always denied the facts. However, the woman who accuses her, now 44 years old, was traumatized by her sessions with her driving instructor. At the time, she was 16 years old, a shy and reserved teenager. Despite his student's temperament and young age, the man does not hesitate to talk to him about intimate things.

One year in prison under electronic bracelet

The victim recounted the kind of lesson she followed. His instructor took him away from busy roads. He also removed the driving school sign from the roof of the vehicle. Isolated with the young girl, he gave her advice on how to de-stress as her license approached. This included unbuttoning your pants to drive. After caressing her breasts and genital area, he will end up subjecting her to blowjobs on several occasions.

Despite the precision of the details given by the victim, the ex-monitor, who was already convicted of sexual touching in 2001, does not remember. He even mentions a conspiracy by his wife and his psychiatrist. He was ultimately found guilty, but given his state of health, his age and the date of the facts, the 20-year sentence was reduced. He received five years in prison, four of which were suspended. His one-year sentence will be under an electronic bracelet.
