Amazon is launching a major recruitment campaign for the end-of-year period. In mainland France, 8,000 positions are to be filled on some of its sites, including 2,800 in Hauts-de-France and notably in Gauchy, near Saint-Quentin. As for the Boves center (Somme), it is currently being transformed and will not have the capacity to accommodate reinforcements this year. The one in Senlis, in Oise, has already completed this phase of hiring fixed-term contracts.
« Positions are to be filled in the Lauwin-Planque distribution center, as well as in the region's three delivery agencies located in Sainghin-en-Mélantois, Avion and Gauchy, and in the Lauwin-Planque sorting center. », Announces Yan Pataki, human resources director of logistics operations at Amazon France, to our colleagues at Courrier Picard. “ These are logistics agent positions for stocking, orders and shipping for customers. These hires aim to relieve our teams and respond to the end-of-year peak in activity. », he continues.
The recruitment campaign has already started. Volunteers must submit their application on the Amazon website (www.travailleravecamazon.fr). France Travail also offers profiles that Amazon will eventually select. “ Recruitment is without qualification requirement. Those selected are offered an interview. Positions are available now for contracts until Christmas week », Notes the Amazon France representative.
