Esplanade du Bourgada: episode 1 of season 2 of the Promenade du Paillon in Nice

The first tree on the Paillon promenade was inaugurated on October 26, 2013. Ten years later, the first episode of season 2 of the green casting extension is thrown. This Saturday, May 22, hundreds of Nice residents came to attend the inauguration of the Bourgada esplanade.**

In front of this crowd, the mayor of Nice Christian Estrosi, alongside his wife Laura Tenoudji and in the presence of elected officials, pressed the button to reveal the Bourgada garden to these citizens.

On the ruins of the National Theater of Nice, now grow 150 trees and shrubs (olive tree, almond trees, holm oaks) six umbrella pines over 5,000 square meters of surface area. These vegetation are watered by a 600 cubic meter tank, placed underground, supplied with rainwater.

The revegetation will continue on the other side of the Mamac. Landscaping in the Barla sector will begin next September, time to complete the waterproofing of the Paillon vaults.
