As part of the Lorient Oceans festival on Sunday June 30th 2024, a Grande Parade maritime will be organized. Here are the boats to observe and the route to follow them.

1 hour 30 minutes of show on the water

“For 1 hour 30 minutes, boats typical of the activity of the Lorient harbor will sail along a route designed so that they are visible from all the cities of the harbor. Tall ships, heritage boats, pleasure boats, but also military and commercial vessels, fishing port units, SNSM patrol boats, to name but a few, will make up this fleet for a day for the greatest pleasure of spectators,” the organization indicates.

What is the route?

Unless there is a last minute change, the parade will leave at the level of the citadel of Port-Louiswill follow the coast side Locmiquelic (the port of Sainte-Catherine will be an excellent viewpoint), will go beyond Saint-Miche Islandl, up to the level of Pen Mané.

“The departure is scheduled for 2 p.m. The first boats will set off at 1 p.m. to reach the starting point,” specifies the organization of the event.
