“Silo” on Apple TV +: season 2 digs its furrow deep

As a reminder, adapted from the literary anticipation trilogy by the American Hugh Howey, launched in May 2023 on Apple +, the series recounted the daily life of human survivors of a tragedy which had ravaged the Earth hundreds of years earlier and made its surface unbreathable. The survivors, confined in a gigantic underground silo of 144 floors, were distributed by social hierarchies, the mechanics – essential to the operation of the turbines – at the bottom, the politicians and magistrates at the top. But an investigation led by Juliette, a former mechanic turned sheriff, into the mysterious origins of the silo would call everything into question.
