Blagnac. First BFC women’s tournament with Océane Daniel

The organization, on Saturday June 15, of this women’s football tournament for the U11 (under 11 years old) and U13 (under 13 years old) sections was a great first for the Blagnac Football Club (BFC). Océane Daniel, international player, was the guest of honor for this event. A very successful first edition!

“Presumably galvanized by this distinguished guest, the young players committed themselves more than ever to the effort on the field, maintaining impressive motivation, even at the end of the day after 7 matches of 15 minutes in the legs” exclaimed Nicolas Rouyer, Capucine’s father who played for the BFC in U13. All matches took place with great respect between players and towards the referees. The Jeune Entente Toulousaine dominated the tournament by winning the title in both categories. The two Blagnac teams did well by finishing in 4th place after a highly contested semi-final.

Océane Daniel attended almost all the matches, encouraged the players, spoke with the coaches and managers of the BFC and other teams present. At the end of the day, his autograph session was particularly well attended.

Just before taking her plane back to Paris, Océane Daniel presented the awards to all the young footballers in the tournament. She continued the next day with a radio show on Europe 1 before flying to Canada to host a U13 women’s football course.
