when famous puppets arrive in a village

As part of the Chés Wèpes festival, organized from November 8 to 17, by the Avre Luce Noye community of communes, in partnership with the Regional Agency for the Picardy Language, was offered, in the Quesnel village hall, the show “Tchot Blaise antiquaire” by the famous Chés Cabotans of . The play told this story: while Blaise was hired as an apprentice antique dealer in Papa Cucu's shop, Lafleur discovered his talent as a sales technique coach.

More than 80 people in the Quesnel village hall

More than 80 people were present to see this astonishing traditional Picardy puppet theater, known as cabotans, a theater usually located in the Saint-Leu district in Amiens. The performance allowed the public to see the puppeteers working live: the spectators were amazed to see the four artists pulling the wires allowing the puppets to move on stage, while giving them expressive voices, all with a keen sense of timing.
