An exploration of exile, identity and freedom through poetry and music! Embark on a concert-crossing on the common thread of exile, identity, solidarity, freedom, sublimation and action. With an accordion, a cello, a voice, poems and impromptus, this unique experience promises a reconquest of our territories. At the heart of this adventure is “And now I’m waiting”, a collection of Franco-Arabic poetry by Sabine Venaruzzo. A living poetry beyond the words “And now I wait” is not simply a book, it is an open door to a living poetry where each word, in symbiosis with the notes of Daniel Mille and Eric Longsworth, resonates with emotion and truth. This project offers a rare opportunity to explore the power of artistic creation through the lens of poetry and music. It is an experience not to be missed for those who wish to nourish their imagination and place emotion at the heart of their lives, while exploring the depths of their own identity. The artists: Daniel Mille is a French accordionist and composer of great musical sensitivity. He has collaborated with big names in French song, as well as for theater and cinema, with a discography of 11 albums. He has received numerous awards in his career, including a Victoire de la Musique in the instrumental jazz category. His years of complicity with Jean-Louis Trintignant had a profound impact on his career. Eric Longsworth is an exploring cello composer. Of American origin, he trained in the United States then made a career in Canada before settling permanently in France in 2002. Navigating between jazz, improvisation and world music, he explores all horizons without border. He has several albums to his credit, including the most recent, “It will be sunny tomorrow morning until noon”, released in 2023 and critically acclaimed. Sabine Venaruzzo is a poet, performer, lyric singer and author of the collection “Et denow, j’attends” published in a French-Arabic version in 2023 by Editions de l’Aigrette. Since 2006, she has organized the contemporary poetry festival Les Journees Poët Poët in the Alpes-Maritimes, certified by the National Book Center (CNL). Sabine is also one of the authors selected by the Versopolis platform, supported by the Creative Europe program of the European Commission.
