The Bléré criterium changes scenery. Last year, the event organized by Cop’s Civray Cycling took place at night and in the streets of the city center. The cyclo-cross specialists, Vincent Limoges and Ludovic Renard, finished first and third.

This Sunday, June 23, it will be transformed, since it will be run during the day and on a route that is easier to secure, the one usually covered during the Bléré races, in the industrial zone. This very fast 1.7 km circuit, with four turns and long straights, will probably favor a sprint finish, particularly in the heart of an open peloton which has forty entrants.

Romain Pinède at the head of the general

These races are coupled with those which took place in Bléré, at the same place, on March 24. A general classification will be calculated for the two events, allowing the Skoda race Grand Prix to be awarded to the leader of each category.

In March, Romain Pinède (UC Joué) won the open race 2 and 3 ahead of Corentin Souchet and Joseph Hérissé, two riders from the Guidon du Crochu.

Hérissé, the Indre-et-Loire champion in great form currently, has the profile of both the stage winner and the general classification.

Sunday June 23. Departures from rue Alfred-Nobel: access 3 and 4 at 1 p.m.; access 1 and 2 at 2:30 p.m.; open 2 and 3 at 4 p.m.
