Housing: The rehabilitation of the “Les Tilleuls” Autonomy Residence inaugurated

The association La Compassion, in partnership with the SA HLM of the Oise and the town hall of Lassigny, inaugurated on 7 November the rehabilitation of housing at the Résidence Autonomie “Les Tilleuls” in Lassigny. In the presence of Brigitte Renardvice-president of the La Compassion association, Muriel Blouingeneral director of the La Compassion association, Edouard Duroyongeneral director of SA HLM de l’Oise, Laurent Marotmayor of Lassigny, representatives of the Oise Departmental Council and the company DEMATHIEU BARD. After the inauguration, guests were given a tour of the premises to discover the modernized facilities and meet residents.

A modernized and secure home

The rehabilitation work, carried out by the DEMATHIEU BARD company, made it possible to make the place more warm and securewhile being adapted to the needs of seniors. Common spaces have been redesigned to encourage social interactions and organize collective activities. THE 36 accommodations have also had a facelift for greater comfort and accessibility. Relaxation and activity areas have been created to share convivial moments and stimulate residents' participation in local life activities.

The common area has been redesigned to be more welcoming and modern.

This autonomous and inclusive residence is part of the challenges of age welland was designed to make elderly people feel at home. The renovation showed the community's collective commitment to seniors. Muriel Blouin reaffirmed the commitment of the association La Compassion “to work for accessible and adapted solutions for elderly people in the region”. This rehabilitation project was supported by the Oise HLM SA, the Oise Departmental Council, the Lassigny town hall and financial support from CARSAT.

An intergenerational meeting place

The “Les Tilleuls” residence is located in the city center and welcomes local residents and associations, who are invited to participate in activities and enjoy the collective spaces. In addition to welcoming seniors, the residence is open to students, young workers and people with disabilities, thus allowing a unique intergenerational meeting.
