Our prediction : Slovakia beats Ukraine (3.60)
I was stunned when I discovered the odds of this meeting! It was Slovakia who achieved the feat of the first day of Euro 2024 by beating Belgium 1-0? Was it Ukraine who fell heavily 3-0 against Romania? Is it really Slovakia which has just scored three consecutive victories, scoring nine goals and conceding none? It was Slovakia who won the last duel between these two selections 4-1 (even if it dates back to 2018)? Is it really Slovakia that will qualify for the 1/8 finals if they succeed today? The only downside for Francesco Calzone’s men is that they are not obliged to win in Düsseldorf while the Ukrainians no longer have room for error after the snub suffered against Romania. For all these reasons, the Slovak victory doesn’t seem that crazy to me, especially at 3.60!
