Couterne festival committee ready for Saint-Pierre on June 29 and 30

A few days ago, the team of volunteers from Couterne festival committeedelegated municipality of Rives-d’Andaine (Orne) built the traditional giant bonfire who will be kissed on Saturday June 29, 2024, at nightfall around 11 p.m.

“It took the committee builders two days to assemble the logs,” underlined President Michel Courtois, who detailed the program for Saint-Pierre 2024.

Programming

Saturday, June 29. In the afternoon, the festivities will begin with the funfair set up in front of the pumping station.

At 8:30 p.m., two free concerts with Epicurians et Hypnocode with barbecue meal and fries.

At 11 p.m., the giant pyre is lit.

Sunday, June 30. Yard sale from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. which will take place from the pharmacy through the Ponot room to the greenway.

At 7 am, wake-up call with fanfare, then at lunchtime, the municipality offers an aperitif followed at 12:30 pm by a special barbecue country meal (single price: €14). The La Chapelloise fanfare will be parading through the festival.

At 3 p.m., the troop Edmond and Edmond will present his show.

Young and old will be able to play the wooden games of the Payaso Loco association.
