The Cingal pétanque clubnot far from Falaise, stood out. He won the Calvados cupSaturday October 26, 2024, in Ouistreham.

The Cingal pétanque club held its general meeting on Saturday, November 2, in the multipurpose room. Franck James, the president, gave a very positive assessment of the season which has just ended. The club has thus obtained several titles or places of honor among both young people and seniors.
We will particularly remember the performance of the women, victorious in the Calvados triplet championship or the recent Calvados Cup won by Cingal. The senior women's and men's teams competing at the regional level also had a good run.
Next year they will have the ambition to move up a level and reach the highest regional level. Ultimately, these good performances allowed the Gouvixois to rank 3rd among departmental clubs behind Luc-sur-Mer and Livarot.
On the project side, the club which should be granted the pétanque school label will set up a center to support its young people in regional and national competitions.
At the end of this general meeting, the office was re-elected unanimously. President Franck Jame, vice-president Audrey Perrine, secretary Océane James, treasurer Romain Trocherie.
