The citadel and its surroundings will be the settings for the events of this Saturday June 22. And sports village will be installed at field of Mars of 10 has 18h. In the program : football, boxing, canoeing, or break dancing… Each sport will be represented by a local sports association. Handisports activities will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. in the same place and will offer sports such as wheelchair rugby where the armchair basketball.
From hip-hop to the Opera
Four cultural venues will open their doors to sport this Sunday, June 23, and will be free for all visitors. THE Palace of Fine Artswill welcome theVauban Fencing Academy for some demonstrations and of l’initiation of 14h30 has 5:30 p.m.. Choreographed fights are also organized. THE Tripostal will receive‘E-sportwith some ping pong in virtual reality, of 14h30 has 18h.
There will also be hip-hopa discipline that encompasses several categories of dance, including break dancing – which will be this year, and for the first time, a Olympic discipline. Appointment of 14h30 has 16h in the grand foyer of the Opera. Finally, the Hospice Comtesse Museum will be the ring for demonstrations and initiation to boxing, supervised by the Lille Ring United.

The times of the different races
The Citadel racewhich will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.is organized by the Lille Métropole Athletics (LMA). David Sombe, world vice-champion in the 4×400 meters and future torch bearer will be present. The different races will start from the Esplanade de la Citadelle. Departure times:
- 6:30 p.m.: 2024 meter race (open to all)
- 7 p.m.: Kids Run (up to 9 years old)
- 8 p.m.: 5 kilometer race
- 8:05 p.m.: 5 kilometer walk
- 9 p.m.: 10 kilometer race
