Jean-Pierre Chambon, emblem of the RCP, left us on Tuesday June 18, 2024. We knew he was ill and bedridden. It’s been many years director of the Puy-L’Evêque rugby clubbut also Lot Departmental Rugby Committee.

For all those who knew and knew him, he was a discreet man, with a big heart and exemplary dedication. Puy-l’Évêque rugby owes him a lot. He will leave an indelible mark on the club.

Ludovic Pennequin, former leader of the RCP club, publishes:

“Jean Pierre Chambon, known as “Néné”, left us today. It is with great sadness that we learn this news. The one who was there from the creation of the club, the one who created the rugby school, the one who saw so many children grow up and laugh on the sidelines, the one who worked so hard alongside the volunteers and educators, is gone . This Saturday, June 15, on the occasion of the club’s 50th anniversary, we had a thought for him. Once again, Nene was discreet behind in his hospital bed, and waited so as not to spoil the party. Today the RCP is in mourning. »

To the entire rugby club, to his friends and to the many Puy-l’Evêquois who knew him, we offer our sincere condolences to his wife Armelle, his family and his loved ones.
