Guillaume Hamon, town planning assistant, responds point by point. “ The densification of the city center is included in the local town planning plan and it is an assumed desire to concentrate this type of housing in an area close to shops and the town hall,” he explains.

In return, the municipality undertakes to free up space for the creation of “plant pockets”. The project to destroy the leisure center and the preservation of a nearby grassy strip are an illustration of this.

“The law relating to solidarity and urban renewal (SRU) and demographic projections require us to welcome 80 new residents per year, taking into account new uses and new mobility,” he says.

Marketing of housing in home ownership, intended for households subject to means conditions under the new joint real lease system, will begin at the end of the year.

The start of the work will take place in mid-2025 and should be completed by the end of 2026, beginning of 2027.
