From June 29 to July 5, 2024, the Tour CIBC de la Fondation Charles-Bruneau will bring together more than 1,000 cyclists to support children with cancer and raise funds for research.

Anthony and Emy, child heroes from Lanaudière, will be involved this year on the various Tour CIBC routes to share their stories and support this important cause.

Anthony Saulnier, aged 13 and originally from Notre-Dame-des-Prairies, is currently in remission from acute lymphoblastic leukemia. He is a child hero for the 4-day course that connects Mont-Tremblant to Boucherville. Anthony loves science and math and would spend all his time mountain biking if he could! What he found most difficult during his treatments was not being able to play sports and go watch his brother play hockey, another sport he really enjoys. A caring and attentive young boy, we immediately understand why he wanted to get involved!

Emy Morissette, aged 8 and originally from Terrebonne, is currently being treated for acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Emy is not her first involvement with the Charles-Bruneau Foundation and this year, she is a child hero on the route between Quebec and Boucherville. Creative by nature, Emy’s favorite thing is her contemporary and hip-hop dance classes. which she follows during lunch time at school. Artistic and flirtatious, she likes to write and share her choreographies on social networks. What she finds most difficult is not being able to do gymnastics during her treatments.

The Charles-Bruneau Foundation supports research into pediatric cancers so that children like Anthony and Emy can heal and live healthy lives.
