Cantal: tribute to a centenary
Cantal: tribute to a centenary

It was at the home of Lucie Anric’s daughter that we celebrated these 100 years.

Born May 4, 1924 in Menet in Cantal (15) and widow of Gendarme Anric Jean, who died April 16, 1987.

Jean joined the Gendarmerie on 1er February 1945, they were married on October 22, 1945 after Jean’s return from the Indochina War. They had two children, Serge and Geneviève, 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Accompanied for this great moment by these two children and his son-in-law, Captain Sylvain Grimonprez, deputy commander of the Aurillac departmental gendarmerie company, the head of the Aurillac brigade, Mireille Laborie, deputy mayor of the same city, Messaline Schultz, director of the National Office for Combatants and Victims of War, Alain Gaillard, delegate of the National Gendarme Fund, representative of the Gendarmerie House and president of the Ud15 as well as Ghislaine Gaillard , secretary of Ud15.

Jean ANRIC, former member of our association; was even its treasurer for a long time, these long-time friends, Henri Cournuejouls and his wife were also close to Lucie (Henri took over from Jean as treasurer and they are still members)

On this occasion our centenarian received many presents: flowers, cakes, chocolate and a hat. The president of the UDd15 presented him with the Unprg medal engraved with his name. And all this under a radiant sun

Ghislaine Gaillard, secretary of Ud15.
