At the end of the General Meeting of Notaries held on May 31, 2024, Maître Sophie NOUGUIER, was appointed for a period of two years at the head of the Notaries of Gard.
Aged 55, she has worked as an associated notary in NIMES since 2000.
Involved in defending the values of the Notariat, she has participated on multiple occasions in actions carried out by the profession. Elected for the first time to the Chamber of Notaries of Gard, she took on the role of Vice-President in May 2023.
Attached to the work of her predecessors, Maître Sophie NOUGUIER places herself in the continuity of the actions undertaken and wishes to place her mandate in an approach aimed at making the profession better known. The Gard Chamber of Notaries, like everywhere in France, is experiencing profound transformations.
In his speech, we were able to retain the main axes of his mandate:
“We will have to come to terms with new texts: the code of ethics, the reform of the discipline, the Professional Regulations of the Notariat…
But we must also carry out the interdepartmentality recently voted on successfully by our 4 departments: Gard, Ardèche, Lozère, Vaucluse.
I hope that the establishment of sector meetings will make it possible to maintain the link between our base and the authorities.
With my team, I wish to represent everyday notaries, always at the service of the profession”
