The French Rugby Federation validated the victory of RC Villeneuve over Pays de Meaux despite the protest of the Ile-de-France residents this Tuesday and revealed the meeting locations for the semi-finals of Fédérale 2 and 3.
The official validation fell this Tuesday morning. Like the 4 Cantons-BHAP in Federal 2, RC Villeneuve will also play its semi-final of the French Federal 3 championship this Sunday. Indeed, its opponent in the quarter-final, Pays de Meaux, had filed a protest which was not upheld by the French Rugby Federation.
In the Lot valley and Haut-Agenais, all eyes are now solely on the semi-finals which arrive this Sunday. Villeneuve-sur-Lot will be opposed to the Ariégeois of Saverdun when the Bastide Entente will come up against one of the favorites for the Fédérale 2 shield, Montmélian.

This Tuesday, the FFR revealed the location of the matches, which will be played on neutral ground. Lawns which are not unknown to the two Lot-et-Garonnaise teams which are the pride of Lot-et-Garonnais rugby this season.
The 4 Cantons-BHAP will undertake a journey to go to Vichy to play their semi-final. A distant but not unknown destination for the “plum and white” who faced the Auvergnats last season in the championship.
Villeneuve-sur-Lot, for its part, will find a lawn that smiled on it earlier in these final stages. Indeed, the “blood and gold” will play their Fédérale 3 semi-final on the Mauvezin lawn. As a reminder, they defeated the local team on home soil in the round of 32 first leg on April 28.
In Federal 2, the other semi-final will be between FC Lourdes and Grenade-sur-Garonne. In Federal 3, it is Vergt and Servian-Boujan who will try to reach the final.
