Motorcyclists against technical inspection

Motorcyclists against technical inspection

The technical inspection of motorized two-wheelers is still a no. According to the FFMC (French Federation of Angry Bikers), the latter in no way improves road safety, nor does it contribute to the reduction of air pollution.

To show their dissatisfaction, the FFMC organized “the milk cow tour of France”. In the form of a relay, the milk jug, symbol of the taxes and costs abusively levied according to them on the backs of two-wheeled road users, will tour France with bikers taken for cash cows. This tour of France left Eure, in Normandy, on June 3 for a month-long journey, in order to denounce the uselessness of the implementation of technical inspection which obscures the real problems pointed out by the bikers: l road conditions, inadequate training or the absence of real prevention measures. The tour will soon stop in the Lot.

Many stages

The FFMC46 has therefore planned a gathering for Thursday June 20 on the Allées Fénelon, in Cahors, from 1:30 p.m. The bikers from the FFMC82 (Tarn-et-Garonne) will come and pass the milk jug. Then, the procession will take the road towards Figeac to mark some dangerous infrastructures on the RN 840, in particular a particularly accident-prone bend and risk for motorcyclists.

Next stop: Biars to visit a technical inspection center. And finally, the Lot bikers will go to Tulle to pass on the milk jug to the members of the FFMC19.
