It is with great sorrow and heavy hearts that we regretfully announce the passing of Kimberley Rhonda Daley. Kimberley was a woman of remarkable strength, courage, and positivity who fought a heroic battle with cancer for nearly 2.5 years, demonstrating her unparalleled resilience and fortitude. She passed away peacefully on June 26, 2024, surrounded by her loving family, leaving us with a void that will be impossible to fill.
Kimberley grew up in Dildo and Torbay before settling in Paradise with her family. She will be greatly missed by her loving husband of 29 years, Jason; her beloved children, Jordan (Olivia) and Hannah (Aaron); her mother, Patricia; her brother, Keith; and a large extended family of sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. She will also be missed by her Subway and Hockey families.
Kimberley was an impactful person who touched the hearts of all who knew her, leaving a little sparkle wherever she went. Her life was marked by unwavering positive energy, a brave smile, and a relentless work ethic, even during the hardest times.
Kimberley’s legacy of love and strength will continue to guide and inspire us, and the memories shared with her will be cherished forever. Kim will be deeply missed by her family and friends, and her spirit will live on in the hearts of those fortunate enough to know her.
In honouring Kimberley’s wishes, the family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Home Again Furniture Bank and/or Paradise Community Food Sharing Association. A viewing will be held on Thursday June 27th & Friday June 28th from 2-4pm & 6-8pm at Barrett’s Funeral Home ,73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl. A celebration of life will follow at 11am on Saturday June 29th at Holy Innocence Anglican Church, 297 Paradise Road with cremation to follow.
The Daley family extends their gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. Rest in peace, Kimberley Rhonda Daley, your light will forever shine in our hearts.
