Les Éditions les Malins are looking for a passionate marketing coordinator to join our team in Montreal. Since 2008, our publishing house has been creating the great readers of tomorrow by demonstrating, season after season, that a good book can be even more addictive than a TV series!

Job Description:
As a Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing strategies to promote our collections and our authors. You will work closely with our Managing Director and our editorial and artistic team to ensure the success of our publications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute marketing plans for new titles and existing collections.
• Coordinate advertising campaigns and promotions on social networks.
• Collaborate with authors to organize launches and signing sessions.
• Manage relations with media and influencers to maximize the visibility of our publications.
• Analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and propose adjustments to optimize results.
• Participate in some regional book fairs.

Qualifications:

• Degree in marketing, communications or a related field.
• Minimum 2-5 years experience in a similar position, preferably in the publishing or media industry.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in French.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Knowledge of digital marketing tools and social media platforms, specifically Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
• Passion for children’s literature and books in general.
• No allergy to cats (there is a cat in the office!), Mario Kart skills an asset.
