Dresses, coats and scarves, Marine Futol prepares her suitcase for the national competition. At 18, she was chosen by the public to represent the beauty of Reunion Island. After a few conventions, preparations for Miss France intensified. “For a while now, I've been taking speaking classes, and cake-walking classes, it's very important for walking with confidence and elegance. In her preparation, she can count on the help of professionals, but above all on that of those close to her. “My dad helps me with math. My mother is in mainland France so it's a little more complicated, but I call her to explain what's going on.“.
His aunt was the one who was the most active. She helped her niece manage social networks and today helps with packing suitcases. “I was a bit like the social media manager for the Miss Réunion election. We believe in Marine, we hope she will do like Valérie Bègue in 2008“.
Tomorrow evening, Marine Futol will head to mainland France to join the other regional misses, before going to Ivory Coast. The goal for Marine is to win the crown of Miss France 2025.
