In total, there will be 226 candidates (accompanied by their substitutes), to present themselves for the votes of the voters in the region for a vote which will take place on Sunday June 30 (first round) and Sunday July 7 (second round). Click on the department links to display the list of candidates and the status in the 36 constituencies of the “South West” zone (from Charente-Maritime to the Pyrénées-Atlantiques)

Gironde: 72 candidates/12 constituencies

> The 72 candidates in the 12 constituencies of Gironde

In total, there will be 72 people claiming the 12 Girondin seats at the Palais Bourbon. This is half as many as two years ago when 142 candidates declared themselves. In 2017, there were 177. Among the applications there were few surprises. The 12 leavers are leaving: the six Renaissance deputies, the three deputies of the ex-Nupes who became the New Popular Front, the Modem deputy and the two deputies of the National Rally. We take stock here.

Charente-Maritime: 27 candidates/5 constituencies

> The 27 candidates in the 5 constituencies of Charente-Maritime

In Charente-Maritime, the main political parties are now in working order. Fewer candidates are announced but the constituencies promise to be contested like never before. Many could tip over. We take stock here.

Pyrénées-Atlantiques: 46 candidates/6 constituencies

> The 46 candidates in the 6 constituencies of Pyrénées-Atlantiques

46 candidates were submitted to the Pyrénées-Atlantiques prefecture for these legislative elections compared to 65 in 2022. We take stock here.

Dordogne: 24 candidates/4 constituencies

> The 24 candidates in the 4 constituencies of Dordogne

Parties had until 6 p.m., Sunday June 16, to submit their candidacy. Little surprise in the officialization of the names at the Dordogne prefecture, except in the 1st and 4th constituencies. We take stock here.

Landes: 23 candidates/3 constituencies

> The 23 candidates in the 3 constituencies of Dordogne

In the Landes, if there were 31 in 2022, there will be 23 entered for the first round this time. Eight in the first and third districts and seven in the second. We take stock here.

Lot-et-Garonne: 14 candidates/3 constituencies

> The 14 candidates in the 3 constituencies of Lot-et-Garonne

Although the candidates are fewer in number than in 2022, the Lot-et-Garonnais will have the choice during the next legislative elections on June 30 and July 7. After having declared themselves at the prefecture (this Sunday, June 16 was the deadline), we unsurprisingly find candidates from the National Rally, the Les Républicains party, Renaissance, the New Popular Front, but also Lutte Ouvrière in the three constituencies . We take stock here.
