The competition for the best pastry 2024 in Val-d'Oise has delivered its prize list and rewarded a bakery located in Puiseux-Pontoise. So which bakery is it and where is it exactly? We reveal the results to you!
This fall, the gourmet competitions around our favorite pastries and our favorite pastries are back. After the prize for the best pain au chocolat in France, that of the best organic bread in Île-de-France and that of the best apple tart from the Ile-de-France region, it's time for competition for the best pastry in Val-d'Oise !
Organized by the Employers' Group of artisan bakers and pastry chefs of Val-d'Oise and the CMA IDF Val d'Oise, this competition was held this fall at the Chamber of Trades and Crafts in Cergy and brought together many candidates, each more motivated than the other to try to leave with the coveted trophy. For this, these different pastry artisans had to create and offer two emblematic desserts: the essential Paris-Brest and the famous apple pie.
To designate the most successful creations and the best pastry in Val-d'Oisethe competition called on a jury made up of experts. They thus had the difficult task of tasting each pastry made and presented by both apprentice pastry chefs, professional employees and business managers.
After deliberations, the bakery and pastry shop The Chocolate Artisan located at Puiseux-Pontoise was named the big winner and therefore won the first prize of this 2024 competition for the best pastry in Val-d'Oise (employer category).
On the second step of the podium, we find the bakery and pastry shop With Three Little Cabbageslocated at L’Isle-Adam.
Finally, Gauthier House has Beauchamp wins 3rd prize in this competition for the best pastry 2024 in Val-d'Oise.
