Thibault Vergnet embarked on this adventure: refurbishing Le Camargue, a tobacco shop located at the bottom of Avenue Jean-Jaurès. This job is not a discovery for him who has already worked in his best friend’s tobacco shop. As a native of Nîmes, he is delighted to open a business in the town where he grew up, to be closer to its inhabitants. This project had been under consideration for three to four years but no location met Thibault’s expectations. Until the day one of his friends told him about the situation at this tobacco shop, Le Camargue.

Thibault Vergnet is not alone in this adventure, a long-time friend is behind the cash register to share this adventure. “We started the adventure at the same time with Thibault, so we learned together“, explains his colleague. In order to keep this small Nîmes business alive or reviving, everything has been renovated. There is also a food section for those who are hungry.
