In the first constituency, two left-wing candidates, Olivier Nicolas (LO) and René Pilato (New Popular Front) will also see Thomas Mesnier (Horizons, presidential majority), two far-right candidates (Marion Latus for the RN and Doraline Bernard for Reconquête) as well as Alain Boivin (LR).

“Surprise” candidates

If there are any surprises, it is in the second constituency that they intervene with eight candidates in total. Outgoing MP Sandra Marsaud (Renaissance) will face seven candidates: Alain Janot (Reconquête), Barthélémy Martin (supported by the RN), Didier Jobit (LR), Carole Ballu (New Popular Front) or Françoise Bessas (LO). Two applications were made on the wire with Aurore de Clisson who presents herself, not under the RN banner, a party that she announces “leaving” this Sunday evening but with a “Miscellaneous right” label. Another name, previously unknown: Corentin Vinsonneau, 28 years old, “from Jarnac” is a candidate for Volt France, a pan-European center-left party.

Finally in 3e constituency, the outgoing MP (RN) Caroline Colombier is putting her seat back in play. A seat coveted by Adrien Touzé (Reconquest), Virginie Lebraud (New Popular Front), Gwénhaël François (Modem, presidential majority), Patrick Curgali (LO) and Dominique Souchaud (UDI/Ecology at the center). The LR having failed to nominate a candidate in this constituency.
