Today, general practitioners are lacking increasingly, in rural areas. The search announcements are multiplying and today, it is the turn of the municipality of Joué-sur-Erdre (Loire-Atlantique) to launch an appeal to find a second doctor.

Loire-Atlantique: this town is looking for a new doctor

Located near Nantes, the town of Joué-sur-Erdre is looking for a second doctorin order to “fill the lack of general practitioners and to increase their availability”.

The town hall therefore published an ad on its various networks, in the hope of attracting a new general practitioner.

Complete the medical offer and meet needs

Originally, the medical home was created in 2005 to accommodate two general practitioners, as well as paramedical specialties. Namely, a physiotherapist, an osteopath, two nurses and a midwife. Refreshment work was also carried out at the beginning of 2023.

But today, one of the offices is empty, and ready to welcome a new general practitioner.

A beautiful, large office is immediately available for a second full- or part-time general practitioner.

A secretary is also available by the town hall. The latter is already in place for the active doctor.
