The Ordi'Lot 2024 distribution campaign launched by the department has started, but the operation continues until February 28, 2025 for the submission of new applications.

This Tuesday, November 5, from 5 p.m. in the Orlinde college in Bretenoux, the 36 families who had completed the file for their child entering 6th grade, were awaited by three agents from the department. In two separate stations following alphabetical order and after checking the papers, the agent gave the computer in his bag with all the necessary accessories and documents. If the parent or student requested technical or other explanations, the agent took the time to give them to the student's great satisfaction. When they left the room, everyone was smiling!

Thanks to financial aid allocated by the department, aid which varies between 20% and nearly 95% of the price of the computer depending on the family quotient, middle school students who have just entered 6th grade or are attending school for the first time in a Lot college, will have been able to acquire the laptop which will allow them to work at home and stay in contact with the college.

This year, a total of 913 computers are being distributed after the All Saints' Day holidays in 24 colleges – public or private – in the Lot department.

The laptop also serves as a tablet: the screen is touchscreen, full HD with 360° rotation. The tool is owned by the family and is provided with around forty applications used in the school environment: math, technology, science, French, languages, geography and even 140 digital books. This operation allows families to benefit from reliable equipment for the entire duration of their schooling. Ordi'Lot assistance is only granted once per student.
