The list of players included for the Belgium U23 team’s match against the American university All American selection was made official this Friday. As expected: it is mainly made up of U20 players reinforced by a few U23s.
This Belgian-American meeting is part of the All American team tour organized by the Rugby Centennial association, created to celebrate the centenary of the 1924 Olympic Games final won by the Americans. The team from the United States for the tour includes high-level university players aged 18 to 25.
Their confrontation against Belgium is the first of three matches on the program of their tour. They will then face the National Gendarmerie on June 27 in Bayeux and a French university team on July 4 in Suresnes.
For the meeting on June 23 at the Stade du Littoral in Grande-Synthe, near Dunkirk, Belgium will field a U23 team. There are second year U20s like Luca Deplechin, Jules Bultez, Tom Calomm, Delis Rivera and Martin Marenne. A few U23s in key positions strengthen the team.
