We are talking about the project for a new health center in Miélan. At the end of December 2023, the municipal council decided to carry out this investment.

The geographical location of the health center was envisaged on a plot of land on the outskirts of the commercial and artisanal zone in the Gaouach district. A new project has emerged by rehabilitating a building between the nursery school and the college. The overall cost of the operation will be reduced. The project is led by the municipality of Miélan. Each healthcare professional will pay rent according to the surface area used.
The three-level building will accommodate general practitioners and their secretariat on the ground floor, a nursing office, the osteopath on the first floor, a meeting room, a coworking office, and the physiotherapy office on the second floor. Locations for a dental office and a midwife are also planned. An elevator and a staircase will serve the floors.
Visits to existing premises allowed municipal councilors and then health professionals to understand each person’s needs. Technical selection and site monitoring meetings will follow one another until the inauguration of the medical complex, which we hope will happen as soon as possible.
At its meeting on May 27, the municipal council decided favorably to update this project and its financing.
